*“Have you reached the end of your known world?”, is a work by de.coherence ( Donia Jornod and Jeremy Ratib) that adresses the importance of parallel narratives in our culture and how they shape our understanding of the world around us. In this case, the narratives the artists have chosen to contribute to are founded in the flexible relationship of the human body to its natural environment. They consider our perception of the tangible, the organic, and the notion of ecology to be epistemological constructs, a result of socio-political and cultural legacies. This work, through its layering of realities, calls on our capacity to reform these perceptions.
